Cafe de Olla Popsicles
I am not a coffee drinker but these pops hit the spot and give a you a little boost on a hot summer day!
Ingredients
4 cups water
2 cinnamon stick
4 tablespoons chopped piloncillo
5 tablespoons of La Monarca Bakery ground Cafe de Olla
2 Tablespoons table cream
Whole Coffee Beans - Optional
Tools Needed
Coffee Drip or Press
Medium Pot
Liquid measuring Cup
Popsicle Molds
Instructions
Steep La Monarca Bakery Cafe de Olla.
While coffee is steeping get your medium pot and add water, cinnamon sticks and piloncillo. Bring to a boil. Stir until piloncillo dissolves. Remove from heat. Discard cinnamon stick.
Once coffee is ready, combine with your water/piloncillo mixture.
When room temperature, stir in table cream one tablespoon at a time.
If adding whole coffee beans, divide and add a few to popsicle molds.
Pour in mixture, cover and insert popsicle stick (depending on your popsicle mold).
Freeze overnight or until firm
