“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”

This year, I decided to do a little something different with my Christmas decorations and bring a couple laughs to my neighbors that walk past to get everyone in the Grinchmas spirt!

I used heavy duty foil paper to create shape the hand, then hot glued some fuzzy green fabric from JoAnns all around it making sure it was tight to not lose his shape. I had an old tree skirt that I cut to create the sleeve and finally I added a large red ornament with fishing line.

For the banner, I used canvas, acrylic paint and twine.
